Lynn
Whether working with individuals or a business, the thread that binds all my work is being a facilatator of change. I carry a greater vision to help develop one’s skills and capacities to improve their lives. I thrive on working with diverse populations and as a hands-on leader.
I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and specialized in violence and abuse in families. I was adjunct faculty in the psychology department at Curry College, with the challenge of working with learning disabled students. For 11 years I was the owner/CEO of IMPACT Model Mugging, an organization that provided violence prevention skills. During that time I founded The LiveSafe Foundation, Inc., a non-profit partner to IMPACT, because I believed that money should never be an obstacle to someone’s safety. I helped start an IMPACT chapter in South Africa and taught classes in Johannesburg and Soweto.
With all that I have done in my career I carried a yearning to live and work in Africa. I actualized this dream in 2004. I now spend half the year by myself in a village of Kyalliiwajala and in a suburb of Boston. I am very welcomed and accepted by the community. We are working hand in hand to create new possibilities in their everyday lives and their future.
